Hello forum. Greetings from Texas.

I've seen SF59 live, 4 times through the years.

The first time was in Lancaster, TX, at a church in the actual worship hall with the crowd sitting in the pews, with Bloomsday and Joy Electric, in '96. I remember seeing the Plugged EP for sale at the merch table, but I only bought the sticker which looks like the cover, which I still have. I went with my best friend who is actually the person who turned me on to SF59. He went to a church camp the summer before and came back with a friend's cassette of Silver. As soon as he hit play and I heard "Blue Collar Love", I was hooked and have bought every album and ep since, minus Plugged, still.

The second time was in '98 or '99 at a Methodist church, in Hurst, TX, in their rec hall, with a local group called Spy Glass Blue, I think it was, opening, who were actually late to start because of their drummer being late to the show.

The third and fourth times kind of blur together since they were both at The Door in Dallas, TX, between 2000-2002. I know at one show, Jason played acoustic to start the evening, which some clips can be seen on Youtube, then the opening bands played, and then SF59 came out electric. I actually bought a dvd of both of SF59's sets from someone on ebay, but I received a bad copy and the guy disappeared. It will only play 2 or 3 songs from the acoustic set and then freeze up, and nothing else can be seen.

I believe they did play the DFW area one other time in Arlington or Grand Prairie at a Christian based all ages club, but I missed that show, and never went to the club, so I can't remember the name of it since it's been closed many years now.

I have no record of any of the shows I went to since no tickets were bought before these shows and I've never seen an archive tour list online.

I'm looking forward to the new album and hope there will be tour again, if it can be worked out.

Welcome from a fellow Texan. From the looks of your concert going history it seems we may have crossed paths a few times.

There was footage from the cable access show Heavenly Riffs on YouTube from a Texas concert in 1995. It's been removed, perhaps it's going to be used for the Starflyer Gold LP on BTV.
