Map update

Hi all my name is Josh Dooley. I played in SF59 from 2000-2007 off and on and I would play tonight if I got the call. I have a band called Map. We are on Face book now.

our last record came out last summer and it was called speechless. i recorded it myself at home. I am currently working on a record with my sister katie. My sister is on the Map song Easy Ride. we ended up co writing 11 songs together. We are calling the album loneliness is dangerous. we are not sure what we will call the "Band" since it isn;t quite Map. I wrote, performed and recorded all the music and she wrote the lyrics and sang. Personally its the best record I have been involved with and it would be the best Map record except friends of mine are saying since I am not singing on it I should call it something else. Our plan is to have it finished in early 2011 and give it aways as a free download.

Everything I have heard from Map is excellent. I especially loved Speechless. Can't wait for this project either - sounds great. I think Speechless would also make a great vinyl release. But I say that about every album I like

Thanks for posting Josh. I'm looking forward to hearing more of your sister's voice. Speechless came out at a really good time for me last year, "Avalon" in particular was very moving.
