Hey, who remembers these guys? Punk/reggae/ska band from the 90's; swapped a few band members with the OC Supertones; put out three albums on BEC Records and then disappeared.

Turns out they didn't disband, they just moved underground. They released a fourth album last month. For free. It is glorious.

for some reason, I have been craving Sublime, I have spent hours on pandora listening to the sublime station, so getting an album like this is a real gift.

I have their first album on cd somewhere, I have to dig it out.

here are links to free legal songs by Dingees member Dave Chevalier (sp?). He goes by the name Betamax DC. Great stuff..very different from Dingees though. He did play some on the new Dingees album The Rebel Soul Sound System.  Heres the link     http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/Betamax_DC

Betamax is Dave? I'll need to give those a listen later.

i saw them play at cornerstone and again in tulsa (2002 i believe)

they were entertaining - the time i saw them in tulsa was opening for ghoti hook and it was about the end for both bands. both bands played with 3 guys and sounded a bit rough/sloppy.  good memory though.

That's cool. I only got into the Dingees after they left Tooth & Nail. Never got to see them live, but I was able to snag their first three albums for real cheap (Crucial Conspiracy cost me less than a dollar).

I probably never will see them live; they may still be together, but it looks like they aren't playing any shows outside CA.
